Doug Ober- With great range and spun style, Ober hit Hollywood to take over as frontman for the Reign, The last of the Connecticut contingent, Ober’s sullen soul fit like a glove with his toxic twin Turmoil, Always awake for the party, Ober mesmerized audiences with a menacing style reserved for the greats. A victim of his own mind, Ober’s tortured soul became a keystone of the reign and another darkening factor. Known as “The Reason “ and “ Treason “ Ober was strung tight and that made him great. An adept songwriter and lyricist in his own right, Ober combined with founder Turmoil to pound out the best known of the Reign material. A survivor of the siege and the curse of 1993, Ober raised the stakes and took no prisoners while riding out the wildest of times. Ober is a vet of the Bellflower Brigade and the West Arkeen Project as well as numerous east coast bands He is saluted as the true voice of the Mad Reign era. One cool mother known for pulling down lighting systems, beating Nazis and trashing nightclubs, Ober was right there all up in it and is on the eternal honor roll. You wanna party? Are you sure ? Don’t worry- no bets- Ober is retired and living comfortably in |

Turmoil - Wicked yet witty, founding member Turmoil is action packed and eternally at the ready. A survivor of The Lucky Flesh All Mannequin Band, The Rock on Broadway, and all line-ups of Mad Reign makes this underground legend a real live wire. Known as “ Too Far “, The Tumultuous One” and “ The Crybaby Killer “ Turmoil’s rhythms are always memorable like his lyrical hooks. Termie’s stage show intensity was a real memory maker- Famous for smashing Les Pauls and SG’s, T would delight the crowd with abusive antics and an overly sweaty thrashabout style. A master of the darkened pen, Turmoil’s songwriting and lyrical prowess set him apart from other metal gods. “ Right now there’s no time to give a fuck about anything “ spouted Turmoil in a recent interview , “ except getting my people out from under the corrupt regime that has imprisoned them for so many years’ ‘- An ardent political activist and organizer , Turmoil still makes guest appearances with comrade bands and recently cut a solo project entirely dedicated to the revolution. His tradition continues soon on a street corner near you. |

Rob Thrall- Originally hailed for his blazing speed, Throb is recognized as a wicked live performer and recording pro- Straight out of Waterbury, CT (with Gag and Ober) Thrall grew up fighting cops and dodging beer bottles. Known for walking on burning coals and self surgery of razor cuts with glue and duct tape . this double tough psycho will still be standing long after the local bad boys go into the fetal position. Known as “Throb” by the ladies, Thrall was always on top of his live show game. Famous for back flips and crashing through amplifiers, Thrall’s lightning hit fans face first, followed sometimes by his fists. Legendary for being the last one standing in many a barroom brawl, Thrall’s penchant for the dark side has left many a dead soldier on his resume. Eternally haunted by the Reaper, Thrall has walked through the shadows in the valley of death only to realize he doesn’t give a fuck. This hardcore vet has survived it all and is available for your next gig or party !! |

Greg Spellings- Heralded as a teen age gunslinger, Spellings came from Bako as a graduate of Traitor and recorded on the Mad Reign debut EP- Spellings didn’t last long but gained immortality for his solo work on “ You be the Judge and “ Wham Wham “.. Dead from an overdose in his early twenties, Spellings knew how to blaze but couldn’t ride the reign. A piece of the heartbreak.

Bill “ The Gag “ Gagliardi – Bill showed up from Waterbury, CT and relieved Howard from his state of Turmoil. Billy Gags was the wildest, hardest hitting drummer on the scene. When Gag hit the fucking drums there was no more chit chat. It would scare the shit out of you if you weren’t expecting it and especially if you had a lingering nervousness from the party before. Sound checks were a blast ( literally and figuratively ) and live shows were energized beyond belief- Gag shot himself in the leg while spinning a .45 on his finger and then played shows with the bullet in his leg. He was an animal like the Sesame Street tattoo on his arm and the ladies all loved his wildside and “puppy dog’ look. . Anyone who hung out with the Gag compared him to the legends and his death was a tragedy- He recorded on numerous CD’s and played hundreds of live shows while with The Reign.. The Gag was a dark one as he prowled the back alleys of Hollywood – often spotted with the worst of the worst – (Jon E. Love types ) The Gag was a repeat offender who’s tragic death triggered the demise of the Mad Reign dream – Booming style- drum solo’s ala Bonham- Gag had it all and fucked it off- |

Jay Cattle saw it all as “ the quiet one” who was Termie’s running mate. Great drummer and road crew mate who did it with style. The Reign experience punished Jay Cattle’s soul like it did everyone’s. He was in deep.and liked it. |

Eric Teman- First Reign bass player- recorded on debut Mad Reign EP. Baby Teman is the youngest, smartest and the best looking of the schmooze happy Teman Brothers After witnessing the freakishness of his two brothers, Eric skidaddled for the mountains, ET is a smooth pro who has gigged all his life. From Redwood City like our founder, this guy has the whole package but didn’t let it murder him. Vet survivor of Rock on Broadway, Modern Voice, The Laurel Canyon Mansion, Sam Mann and the Apes, Cyclone Sound, The Lame Flames, Colorado's Vinyl Oyster, and many others, Eric has chops and voice and style. His personality was far too pleasant for the Reign so he was in and out fairly quickly. Alive and well in Colorado, everyone loves Eric. |

Ron “ The Moose “ Owens- The Moose is loose- . This nephew of country kingpins Merle Haggard and Buck Owens is the black sheep of the black sheep and will knock your block off. If you knock it. Disowned by all when on a run Ronnie Lee is a monster with magnitude. Easy to fill in for Harris of Maiden or to play with Slayer this guy has the foundation that others find elusive. Youngest of the notorious Owens’ boys from Bakerspatch, Ron is a double tough cool mother. Great chops, awesome performer, and talented songwriter, Moose is on his own tour but he was a great for gigs and memories. Co- writer of “ Run This Town “ Owens took it all the way and then a little further until the wheels came off- P- Bass master… Surviving member of every Bako metal band including The Change, Traitor and others, The Moose is a founding father of the wildside and a true bro- Check the story section under Moose. |

Mike “ The Pharoah” Barrettt- Darkened and disturbed, “ Phara con” lobbied hard to get his chance to fill the shoes of departing Bassist Ron “ The Moose “ Owens. Baby faced and full of ideas, this magical minstrel made other musicians quit the biz upon encountering his chops. Classically trained at Berklee and more sober than his comrades , Pharoah jumped in for the ride of his life and survived like a champ. P became a legend for live shows and session work, including the 4 th Street session with Jim Wirt. A prolific writer and an accomplished studio musician, P brought a level of sophistication to the Reign that played in handy. Great singer, writer and arranger, P’s bass solos wowed the crowd and he settled into his bad boy status. Pharoah evolved into a brand new maniac with shotgun on shoulder and a whiskey bottle in his pocket. P is suspected as the a possible curse carrier as he has survived the deaths of numerous hardened band mates- ( Frank Starr- Four Horsemen’s Dimwit- The Gag and Randy Castillo ) Phara –con is alive and well and has a wild mind for animation and artillery. His resume includes Mad Reign, The Four Horsemen, and Sub –Thunk. Barrett has been accused of traveling to the dark side and having conversation with Lucifer. |
